About me
I paint everyday people, places and things. I want to display their beauty for those who might not have noticed it without my help. I like to paint people in motion, the light modelling their bodies and clothes, and the shadows they cast. I paint with a very limited palette of bright pigments. I’m childishly fascinated by the miracle of colour mixing. The watercolour medium demands a spontaneous attitude that I’m happy to embrace. Things happen, and you deal with them, like in life. I live in London.
